Alternative energy

some types of alternative energy are:
-wind
-solar
-geothermal
-hydro

these can be used as energy to power cars, houses, cities, etc. We need to come up with a safe and effective form of energy to replace our dependency on fossil fuels because gas and oil will not be useable forever. If I had to pick the form of energy to substitute for gas, I would choose solar power. The sun will never be gone (unless there are clouds covering it) and the sun's rays will only get stonger over the years because of the depletion of the ozone. I think the scientists working on developing the machines that can be used for alternative energy need to hurry up because our fossil fuel supply is running out.
